Evra, along with his then wife Sarah Attwell, first came out as gay in an interview with a French gay magazine in May of 2011.
The couple later started a relationship and, in June of 2011, they had their first child together.
However, it was after the birth of Evra’s third child, a daughter in October of 2012 that he came out as gay. The news of his secret relationship with his partner Sarah, came to light at a hotel in Nice with former French international footballer Samuel Eto’o.
