Serbia’s new species of beetle was named for Djokovic after he won the match with Novak Djokovic in the 2015 Australian Open.
“For me it is a bit of a sad day, because I will never forget that beautiful day last year when it was my turn to play and, after two hours and twenty minutes of play, I ended it with an amazing love match against Novak Djokovic. Now there has been one more tournament for me. This one it was on Wednesday. We played against him and won the match. We were on a five-match winning streak. But we played each other just once, and that was almost the only time that we played. And this time he will always remember when he beat me,” said Djokovic, who is not related to Novak Djokovic.
